I had a fantastic stay, especially enjoyed the fresh nachos at the bar and the excellent breakfast selection. The room was lovely, except it looked slightly smaller than the pictures. I'd definitely return!

By and large, it was relaxing base for sightseeing in Middlesbrough, had much fun and met extremely friendly and really excellent staff on reception desk and hotel lobby. Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the superior king room with an iron and bathroom plus large single beds.

Staff very friendly
The beds, as seems to be the case with so may hotels were rock hard. A park bench would have been more comfortable. Rock hard mattresses cause me significant back and hip pain, and indeed are not good for backs. Sorry, I would be using this chain of hotels again.

comfortable family stay
The pool facilities included a relaxing atmosphere, ideal for families seeking fun and leisure. The breakfast offered a variety of options catering to both adults and children, made our mornings enjoyable.
The check-in process felt slightly prolonged.

The room was excellent. The bed, unusual for a hotel, was actually both big and comfortable. It is probably the largest hotel room I have ever stayed in. One that we will definitely return to.
The cost of breakfast was not included in the room rate and seemed outrageously expensive (sorry) but that that didn't affect us too much. The parking was ok on our first visit to the car park but then was full when we came back - at least there was a public car park which was free after 6pm just next to it.

We explored the Riverside Stadium and the Tees Transporter Bridge. The room was comfy, and the staff did a fantastic job making us feel welcome. Just keep in mind that breakfast isn't included, so plan ahead for that!
One downside was that the bar closed at 10:30 PM, disappointing after our late-night plans. It would be nice to have a little more time to unwind with friends.

The room was cosy and the service at dinner was quick.
The reception/night porter would not call a taxi for my colleague, she was told she could walk around the corner for a taxi, which being a Friday night early Saturday morning was not a very safe option.
